OBTAINING AN ABNORMAL AWARENESS

The world we live in today tailors our mind more than we can imagine.
The social structures, the ethical maze;
Blurring out constantly, what is right and wrong.
Confusing us often out of our own genuine expressions.
We shall try and track our selves back to the true essence of what we are.
"An Indian Girl."
Once we as humans overcome the differences that we see in life;
Like lifestyle, gender, skin color, nationality, language spoken and religion;
We arrive at a point of acceptance.
It slowly creeps into our minds that everything we experience through our senses
are but an almost magical extension of ourselves and us a part of the other...
Then the concept of duality starts flowing into the concept of unity.
This is the beginning of the feeling of inclusion on this planet.
This is the obtaining of the abnormal awareness.
The awareness that does not require to shatter systems but lifts your vision above it.
We merely call this abnormal for it is seldom spoken of.
Through this awareness, the human experiences unconditional, eternal love.
The war, discrimination and violence we see in the world today
Exists only because of the lack of this vision in the human race.
We've come too far with technology and all the celluloid screens.
And weakened our minds to a point of easy manipulation
where a life without them feels dreadful, or a day without them.
We've enslaved ourselves to constant communication to fill our lives.
We've forgotten the majestic mammals that we are.
We are mammals who can inhabit and survive in almost any place on the world.
Yet, most of us base our lives according to our proximity to an electrical plug point.
Free the mind from these illusions and use the tools our fellow humans have invented for efficiency.
But, remember they are mere tools.
When we die and life flashes by, there must be more meadows, soil and skies than us spending time with machines.
There is always but one moment that you can experience, control and change.
That moment is now.

Time flew too fast and too slow, all at once.

Navapatty, India.
The blog is alive again!
After five years, the poet in me wishes you a glorious greeting.
Of time went by, i can but give you an almost unnoticed touch of the adventure that life has been.
But, the past has little difference to the present.
The mind rattled then.
The mind rattles now.
Of people, of places, of distant skies,
The mind has rattled a million miles.
Thankfully, time has been gentle and the breath, calm.
What are we but beautiful colors on the night sky.
One moment, magnificent; the other moment, gone.

We all make mistakes !

I am awake, alive and cannot sleep after two days of sleepless nights and a lot of work.
But, i still cannot sleep, so here i go.
Could we ever avoid a mistake even after we see ourselves going towards it? Wouldn't we die of the thought of "What would it be like if i'd actually done it?"
Children dream of warm hugs, the young dream of love, the old dream of peace. All of us want something that would keep us warm. Tempted by all our senses all the time. A candy, falling in love or living long enough to see their younger generations grow.
We all fall in love. With someone, something, some place, some thought. One day we all would have to let go of what we love because we never owned anything to take anything with us when we leave. But does that mean we should never have fallen in love and felt the oneness? Maybe its going to hurt us in the end. Maybe, we'll suffer. But doesn't time heal everything? Could we stop ourselves from falling in love even if we are very conscious?
We all make mistakes and we can never run away from the them. We need them to learn the truth. The never ending circle of maya. That nothing is really constant. What we perceive now is truth only for now. It changes as our vision expands. But we need to live in something and fully believe in it to realize if it is the truth or otherwise.
We need to make mistakes to learn.
To find that momentary lapse in reason to just let go and live in the present.
If we were always perfect, we would never be alive.
Mankind would have never survived.
War would have never defined peace.
Darkness had to etch the beginning of light.
Each undoing what the other is going to do
To sustain existence and to see beyond.

Don't fear in being wrong. You're doing the right thing !

A chained soul

I discovered what I fear the most.
That cage that we build for our minds.
The one that we get used to and grow old in.
The cage that keeps us happy and content.
But never sets us free.
That is what I fear the most.

It builds up to a point where it never really occurs to us that we've grown used to being in our skin. Over the years, sharing a culture seems alien. Over the years, picking up a conversation with a stranger seems nerve wrecking.
We chain ourselves to our experience and live a pattern that we've built, that we've felt secure in.

To try and make a businessman do charity, is like giving a genuine monk, a ferrari.
We  can be influenced easily by the things and people who carve our daily lives. But deep inside, it doesn't really change our nature unless we see the light of something better. Unless we reach saturation in the things we do and the thoughts we have, those actions and habits are difficult to change. And saturation needn't be subjective to quantity or time. Its merely the time for the mind.

Everyone is addicted to goodness in its entirety. All of us want to be happy, content and peaceful. We want something to instill excitement, that extra spark to keep the love for life going. All our actions encircle that notion. Taking care of our children, doing our job, Planning for supper, moving that  strand of hair from your face, everything we do to make ourselves comfortable and whole.

What do you know..
You know just what you believe.
What can you show..

Nothing of what you perceive.
And in the end, each thread of life that you lead,
Will spin around your soul.
And will sow your seeds.

The mind's a constant confusion.
It runs even when i hit the sack.
The past, a persuasive illusion.
And i'm watching the future.
But its black.

Now's all i've got.
To add more living to life.

Unchain my soul from my self.
To really feel free when i'm given freedom.
To live many lives by living in others.
To know that you are what i'm.
And to realise that "to know" is not
As eternal as wisdom.

Have a great week folks.

Love yourself !

What’s that one love that is the most unconditional?
Love from lovers? Love from people? Love from mothers and fathers?
Love for yourself! No matter what you do and how you are, it never changes your love for yourself. You forgive yourself somehow for everything you do.   If you don’t love yourself, no one ever can.  If you never loved yourself, you can’t love another.
Always thought self indulgence was a sin until i realised something. Everything genuinely good comes from absolute self realisation. And realisation comes when we’ve made a mistake and learnt from it in our lives.  And if we want to be peace loving, compassionate and a selfless person, then we first should quench the thirst of the self until we realise that there is no self. Rather there is no difference between the self and the rest.
When you love yourself with all your flaws and all the blots, the true self appears. After all, flaws are the ones that define our perfection!

So, Love yourself. Well, maybe that is all you can love ‘til the end anyway. There is no after and before when you love yourself. The only thing that starts and ends when you do!

So Love yourself with all your soul.

And the World will love you!

Why love, Why live!

I rarely get into arguments with people. It triggers my dark side of wanting to win it. After quite a while i got myself into one. A friend who was betrayed badly in life by people and me were talking about trust. He said it was very difficult for him to trust people anymore. I said i was betrayed as well. Its made it easier for me to trust!
Why trust someone, get attached and then get hurt, he asks. I laughed thinking to myself, my ears translated those words in my head - "we're born, then we die. so why live?"
I turned from a sociopath to a loner in a crowd to a social animal. We all know we need people around to survive. The people we let into our lives is a choice we make. We all fear one thing the most. Being forgotten. That one day, we leave, we die and the people around slowly forget us. We are remembered on our birthdays or anniversaries. Our families fade away. Everyone moves on. Slowly we become a mere story. We strive our entire life to do something that people will remember us for. What we say and what we do are like leaves on water, they float away and reach the depths of the sea where they are drowned. What we make someone feel is all that we will be remembered forever for.
A few people you meet change your life so drastically. You might have been not so perfect. Even bad on social terms. They so unknowingly change you into something beautiful and teach you to trust and let go. Make you a part of their family, nourish your body, mind, soul and all. Time never matters in knowing a person. Its that thin line between trying to find what a person could be and knowing that you already are a part of their life. This blog is for one such family i met who changed my life entirely and to all the others who have changed yours.
Good people do exist. They might be few, but they do. Trust me, you'll see.
Love,Live.

What it really is, Nobody knows.

 Born, live  and then die
One tiny little person living in a sea
Do my little job and eat my little meals
Among people who ain't aware of me.

Love a little, cry a little inside.
staring out of windows, seeing many faces everyday.
With a sense that no one knows you even with a million beside.

Then why all the conversations.
Why take people into your life.
Why feel happy to feel like you fit in.
No one really knows.

The beginning is always built in its end.
Or maybe both are mere illusions.
Our obsession of feeling safe,
Building threads to puppet our sanity.

The room you are sitting in right now will continue to exist.
Hold the same roof and the same stuff lying around.
But one day you'll be gone.
Your memories fly with you.
But what you have now never was yours.

Then why cry for joy.
Why work till your life's end.
Why feel happy when a friend is born.

What it really is, nobody knows.
