Life seems so complicated at times and there are a million noises inside that mind, confusing and contradicting themselves.
We are the culprits. We complicate life for ourselves. There is such an abundance of emotions, of thoughts and of experience and actions and everything acts on us.
We keep chasing something all the time and reach a brick wall blocking our souls from rising. We have the need to feel secure. Our desires are like threads that are wound around our souls as the years go by and we are lost in them. Bound by them and trying to break free but can never see the light.
I've come across people with an obsession to possess expensive cars, branded clothes. Some people live their lives to have them. But what next!? You buy a house, a car and you are the richest man in the world. You've reached the horizon. But what next? Isn't the journey more important? That we wouldn't mind a few extra miles to reach a place if the road is by the coast and beautiful?
This heart throbbing, beautiful mystery called life needs to be unraveled through merely living. We can't run away or rush it. Or just sit there and do nothing.
And we slowly unwind the complications that we have made around ourselves. A perfect metaphor of a worm building a cocoon around itself and breaking through it after a long slumber to spread the wings into a free butterfly.
We are simple people with simple lives. The time we take to reach that realisation is a lifetime or more!
Simple has never meant easy. But difficult has always meant interesting.
Happy New year folkS! We have only one 2011 in our lives. Fly. There is nothing that can stop you from being you!
Have you ever wondered like i did, how everything changes around you? And one day you realise it was your mind that has been changing and changed everything you see? Funny how there is merely a thin line between your reality and the eternal illusion.

The Rhythm Of Your Soul
When you're walking down the road, I know you sometimes notice your feet make music. When the wind blows hard on your face when you're driving fast, there's music. There's dance in everything we do.
I somehow always intuitively felt that you could tell how much a person values oneself by the way they move. The physique is the index to personality. The finer aesthetic senses speak a million words of the soul.
Its quite simple how you listen to something and move to the beat. But thinking deeper, its like magic! How your ears hear something, your mind deciphers it and your body reacts to it all in that second of a beat!
The mind is so complex and so sophisticated, and anything that is so, is always taken for granted.
No one made rules of "good" music. Somehow, we just know when it isn't right.
It all comes down to that beautiful rhythm we feel inside our very own selves when we breathe. Our very existence is such beautiful music and dance. Both physically and existentially. We take in something and give something in return.
Next time you walk with those fancy shoes of yours, don't forget to notice that rhythm in you. Its a beautiful feeling to know how everything synchronizes with that step of yours. Your breath, every sound around you, everyone. Wait, on second thought, its the same with our lives.
So breathe that music and shine that smile around and feel that warmth of that rhythm in you.
Tap your feet and dance through life like its the last day and the best song!
Live it up!
Good day folks!

The Dream
We almost dream everyday. It keeps us so alive and full of hope. We can fly, run or do humanely impossible plights in our dreams. And we have the privilege to commit mistakes because we can wake up anytime.
What is funny is that if you really think about it, life itself is one such dream.
When i close my eyes to sleep, i let go of my fear of darkness, my fear of being watched and my fear of being vulnerable to whatever is around me. Anyone can do anything around us and we wouldn't know, because we're sleeping. We are vulnerable and have no fear of it. And then, We dream. Life might be just that.
Think about it. The only paradox is that you open your eyes instead of closing them when you let go of your fears.
There is just this very fine line between being afraid and losing that fear. You just have to let go. Fear of death, fear of survival, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of suffering, fear of loss, fear of anything. It suffocates your existence. It pulls you down to rules, to norms and to a claustrophobic life. When you are not afraid of dying, you are not afraid to make a mistake and trying. I can see better. I can just take a wild adventure into the world without thinking of a map to go with my footsteps.
When one loses that fear, one can choose to be what they want to be. Or better, discover a way to live that is very close to their true self. We are influenced by the things we see that it gently molds us into something else.
I see it almost like a very prominent circle. A baby is born. So raw. So full of life. So untouched and pure. And has no knowledge of fear. Then we grow into people and learn slowly how to lose the fear. And all our life, we either choose to live with those fears and die one day or we could grow older to become younger and get back to losing those fears.
I love that wonderful line written by Lewis Carroll in "Alice in Wonderland".
"It is just a dream, Alice. It can't hurt you. you can wake up when you want to."
Didn't we all learn that song when we were young? "Row your boat, gently down the stream. Merrily, because life is just a dream?" It makes more sense now.
Its just a dream folks. You can wake up when you want to :)
Lose your fears. Spread your wings. Love yourself and the world is yours.
Lose your fears. Spread your wings. Love yourself and the world is yours.
Have a great day. A great dream!

The Clouds
People keep passing by. Everyday there's someone you meet who keeps your mind occupied.
But most of them are like clouds that pass by. They all bring different weather at different times. It rains, shines or just mildly floats away.
People are important. Because the soul is one that merely dwells in many minds. Its a phase how one lives for people, then for thoughts and then for fragments of ideas until he realizes that it is not a phase but a huge circle.
I thought oft of how i could keep my mind away from people and live in my own thoughts. But then that was foolish of me. I needed memories to feed my thoughts. And without personae around me, i can never form a memory.
We just draw veils around us to search but not be found, in fear of being seen with our flaws. But flaws are what dignifies beauty, if ever beauty can be seen.
In the end, we all are just memories that live by the stories that we have left behind. But what you have seen, only you will know. You can explain, you can share, write a song about it, or just shout and declare. But that will only be an image of your memory. Not the story with the beauty that it has inside your eyes.
Sometimes there's this moment where two worlds of minds collide and where you and i meet and we feel that we have the same vision but simply different physical eyes. And maybe we notice the same thing while watching a crowd, or maybe watching the same movie in different places or who knows maybe even reading the same word at the same time from a book or a blog.
Intricate, miniscule finesse that binds two minds. Fondness of clarity or rugged adventure into the minds of other people.
When this happens, i am relieved and i know that there is a reason for everyone to exist in the world. That different phases come to each one at different times.
And we all are like slots that fit into each other's lives like puzzles and the world becomes one huge, jigsaw. So we all will meet ourselves and eventually find who we really are behind those veils when we get there.
