OBTAINING AN ABNORMAL AWARENESS

The world we live in today tailors our mind more than we can imagine.
The social structures, the ethical maze;
Blurring out constantly, what is right and wrong.
Confusing us often out of our own genuine expressions.
We shall try and track our selves back to the true essence of what we are.
"An Indian Girl."
Once we as humans overcome the differences that we see in life;
Like lifestyle, gender, skin color, nationality, language spoken and religion;
We arrive at a point of acceptance.
It slowly creeps into our minds that everything we experience through our senses
are but an almost magical extension of ourselves and us a part of the other...
Then the concept of duality starts flowing into the concept of unity.
This is the beginning of the feeling of inclusion on this planet.
This is the obtaining of the abnormal awareness.
The awareness that does not require to shatter systems but lifts your vision above it.
We merely call this abnormal for it is seldom spoken of.
Through this awareness, the human experiences unconditional, eternal love.
The war, discrimination and violence we see in the world today
Exists only because of the lack of this vision in the human race.
We've come too far with technology and all the celluloid screens.
And weakened our minds to a point of easy manipulation
where a life without them feels dreadful, or a day without them.
We've enslaved ourselves to constant communication to fill our lives.
We've forgotten the majestic mammals that we are.
We are mammals who can inhabit and survive in almost any place on the world.
Yet, most of us base our lives according to our proximity to an electrical plug point.
Free the mind from these illusions and use the tools our fellow humans have invented for efficiency.
But, remember they are mere tools.
When we die and life flashes by, there must be more meadows, soil and skies than us spending time with machines.
There is always but one moment that you can experience, control and change.
That moment is now.

Time flew too fast and too slow, all at once.

Navapatty, India.
The blog is alive again!
After five years, the poet in me wishes you a glorious greeting.
Of time went by, i can but give you an almost unnoticed touch of the adventure that life has been.
But, the past has little difference to the present.
The mind rattled then.
The mind rattles now.
Of people, of places, of distant skies,
The mind has rattled a million miles.
Thankfully, time has been gentle and the breath, calm.
What are we but beautiful colors on the night sky.
One moment, magnificent; the other moment, gone.
